UNPACKING
We will use a variety of coaching techniques to help you break down the root causes behind your issues or challenges.

Contrary to traditional psychotherapy, coaching cuts right to the chase by helping you define specific action steps to tackle your root challenges. These measurable action steps are your roadmap towards achieving your personal goals.

ACCOUNTABILITY
Coaching ONLY works with individuals who REALLY want change in their lives and are willing to be accountable to themselves and to their coach.
As a coach, I will be there for you, following up closely on the action steps you've set for yourself. I will motivate you and keep you on track. If we hit a bump on the road, we fine tune the strategy or approach and we keep moving forward towards your goals!

HEARTFULNESS
What really sets me apart from other life and wellness coaches is my personal recovery from PTSD, physical disability, mental breakdown and depression caused by working as a humanitarian relief worker in refugee camps in Africa for over a decade.
Through Eastern practices including holistic yoga, meditation, reiki and spirituality I learned the importance of a heart-centered and compassionate approach to myself, my life, my wellness journey and my personal growth.
This approach extends into how I will coach you to make your coaching experience as easeful , enriching and enjoyable as possible.

The majority of my clients come to me because they seek a different approach to yoga. A customized approach that goes beyond the one-size fits all, beyond the physical calisthenics/power yoga that is commonly taught in yoga studios, gyms and online platforms for men these days.
What is
Holistic Yoga?

MINDFULNESS
Just like in the mindfulness meditation practice, the base of a holistic yoga practice is being in the present moment - here and now. Mindfulness allows to have a safe and meaningful yoga practice. Without mindfulness, yoga becomes mere calisthenics.

BREATH-WORK & ENERGY
How we breathe makes a radical effect on our health, mood and bio-chemistry. When we learn how to breathe the yogic way through a variety of techniques, we are able to modulate our energy field to help us reach energetic balance and better health.
Learning to connect to our energy body by combining mindfulness, breath-work and movement takes the practitioner to an entirely new realm of energetic connection to oneself and to the divine.

MOVEMENT
Movement of the body should be functional and serve a purpose to the practitioner. We all have different bodies and conditions so it only makes sense that we learn to move in the way that is right for each one of us. Through mindful and functional movement (asana/poses), we are able to bring balance, strength and mobility back into our bodies.

PHILOSOPHY & SPIRITUALITY
Yoga is a lifestyle, a life philosophy, a way of being. It goes beyond what we do on the mat. The principles of yoga guide our approach during our practice on the mat and off the mat.
Some examples are: self-study, kindness, compassion, determination, balance between effort & ease, acceptance and connection to the divine energy within us.
Yoga is originally a highly spiritual and transformative practice. Unfortunately, modern yoga schools and influencers in the West have stripped off the spiritual element as a way to sell the calisthenics-style yoga to the masses.
